The Women’s Sport and Fitness Foundation (WSFF) is growing and is looking for a Research Intern.

3 days a week – London Living Wage (pro rata). Six month contract.

Reporting to the Insight and Policy Manager, the role of the Research Intern will be:

· To provide research support to the Insight and Policy Team
· To develop a process for collating regular external information and research on women’s sport and circulating this to the whole organisation
· To provide administrative support for the WSFF Research Advisory Group
· To provide regular updates to the whole organisation on the current policy landscape
· To provide administrative and logistical support to the Insight and Policy Team

This internship will provide you with an opportunity to manage your own project and establish a solid grounding in sport insight – a burgeoning area of the sports industry.

Our ideal candidate has a Bachelors or Masters degree in a relevant subject area, strong research skills and an understanding of the women in sport agenda and the political landscape in which it operates.

Desired profile

Required
 Bachelors or Masters degree preferably in a relevant subject area (e.g. Social Research, Politics, Social Policy, Business, Marketing, Sport Science (or equiv))
 Strong research skills
 Strong written and oral communication skills
 Strong report writing and presentation skills
 Strong organisational and time management skills
 Computer literate and confident in the use of Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

Desirable
 Experience in a research or policy environment
 Understanding of the women’s sport agenda
 Understanding of the political landscape in the UK
 Experience in SPSS PERSONAL
