Job description
Pierce Protocols Ltd. - T/A Heni Publishing is a small but busy publishing company based in the heart of Soho, London. We produce a variety of print and online materials. We are looking for a full-time art historian to assist a research team in creating and managing content for an exciting new project around the life and work of a contemporary artist.
The role will involve research in secondary literature and other relevant resources, for which great accuracy and attention to detail is essential. The candidate should be a confident and versatile writer able to create texts following a set brief. We are looking for a researcher and writer with a proactive attitude and a diligent work ethic. Excellent organizational and communication skills are essential.
Ideally for a Ph.D. candidate in the field of art history, you will have a keen interest and in-depth knowledge of contemporary art.
Core Duties

- Writing of art historical texts
- Data administration
Requirements
- A good degree in art history
- Fluent in written and spoken English
- Strong research and writing skills
- Interest/knowledge in contemporary art
- Ability to take on projects individually as well as part of a small team
The following would also be advantageous:
- Experience in academic research and writing
- Interest in and knowledge of British figurative post-war painting
- Native English speaker
