We are Wiser Graduates: a full-service, multi-sector graduate recruitment firm. We are establishing ourselves as the leading graduate recruitment consultancy in the UK - having tripled in size in the last year and brought on clients such as Whitbread, Just Eat, The Boston Consulting Group and Red Bull, we’re certainly on our way there.

Wiser Graduates is a subsidiary of Wiser - a recruitment/advertising group that is changing the perceptions of the industries it works in. Wiser has capabilities across online advertising, recruitment and executive search.

THE ROLE

The first three months are heavily training-based, bringing you up to speed on who we are and how we work, and finding out how we can get the best out of you. You will be brought onto a warm desk, working with a Senior Consultant who will show you the ropes and help you along every step of the way. Our training is very much on-the-job.

Expect to be:

• Getting in touch with candidates
• Meeting with and talking to clients
• Building long-lasting relationships and working to make placements
• Strategising - everyone at Wiser has a say and we expect all of our staff to think of innovative ways to drive our company forward
• Having fun - a key part of what we do is enjoying ourselves, so if you like good food, good nights out and the odd 1980s power ballad then you’ll fit in just fine.

There is a perception in the marketplace that recruitment consultants are just KPI-driven robots. Not here - we are individuals who are treated as such.

What other preconceptions can we shatter?

The belief that recruiters don’t care about their candidates and clients; only money. Not here - our motto is people, not numbers and we work to the highest ethical standards whilst also pushing ourselves to excel.

The idea that recruitment consultants are all the same type of people. Not here - we are a diverse team of people from all walks of life. It doesn’t matter whether you’re an Oxford-educated Lawyer or a school-leaver - if you are our type of person then there is a place for you here.

What about the perception that Wiser is a growing business, full of interesting people becoming successful while having a laugh? Well, maybe that one you can find out for yourself…
