The Role

With the fast-paced of technological change and HR radically retooling with innovative technologies, AI/automation, Willis Towers Watson is looking for a Talent & Rewards (T&R) Strategic Opportunities and Alliances Leader to build world-class alliances and partnerships across third-party software and breakthrough digital solutions. The T&R Strategic Opportunities and Alliances (SOA) Leader will establish networks across the HR VCs, software and start-up communities to curate, coordinate and shape strategic partnerships and alliances.

Role Priorities:

·  Develop and execute a consistent approach to governance, target evaluation and implementation
·  Continuously scan the market and consult with internal leadership, SME and consultant input to identify potential areas of significant growth for the business via partnerships and alliances with third party software and digital solution providers
·  Lead exploration process of potential third party partnerships and alliances by working with relevant T&R leaders and advancing discussions as appropriate 
·  With support of leadership build business cases for high-potential relationships (vendors, partners, alliances, etc.) and facilitate approval process (Business/LOB/Practice leadership, Legal and Strategy and Corporate Development, as appropriate)
·  Work with Corporate Development to structure alliances and optimize revenue opportunities
·  Create the strategies to commercialize, implement and embed alliances across Willis Towers Watson
·  Be responsible for monitoring and measuring the impact from the alliance and partnership portfolio in terms of revenue, cost savings, client satisfaction and other relevant metrics

The Requirements

·  3-5 years of experience in corporate strategy/business development or corporate development with a focus on managing strategic partnerships, alliances and similar relationships with third party organizations such as VC firms, incubators, etc.
·  Strong business acumen with proven strategic and analytical abilities
·  Undergraduate degree required; MBA or advanced degrees are preferred
·  Availability to travel on an as needed basis
