JOB DESCRIPTION

The Role

The Seasonal Training Specialist role will enhance the competencies of individual employees by conducting training programs to boost employee’s workplace performance in alliance with the company’s core values. They will be responsible for performing training needs assessments, recommending curriculum enhancements and delivering curriculum and learning materials for all phases of training.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

·  Effectively master and train all learning objectives from ViaBenefits University course curriculum 

·  Facilitate learning in a creative, interactive, and enthusiastic learning environment 

·  Direct structured learning experiences and monitor their quality results 

·  Track, evaluate, and report training effectiveness 

·  Act in a compliant, professional manner according to department expectations at all times 

·  Cultivate strong working relationships across multiple departments 

·  Direct structured learning experiences and monitor their quality results 

·  Other duties as assigned

The Requirements

·  Must have at least one season of Willis Towers Watson experience in a Benefit Advisor role

·  Previous training and/or teaching experience desired 

·  Excellent public speaking and presentation skills required 

·  Outstanding verbal and written communication skills a must 

·  Must possess the ability to work successfully with different personality types 

·  Ideal candidate should possess a “team-first” attitude 

·  Problem-solving skills a plus 

·  Must be able to follow and communicate the prescribed procedures and policies of the training department 

·  Ideal candidate should be able to respond positively to change and the challenges and opportunities it brings 

·  Strong understanding of adult learning theory and learning styles 

·  Strong technical skills preferred 

·  Proficient using Microsoft Office suite applications, including PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Outlook required 

·  Willingness to travel a plus

·  Life, Accident, & Health license preferred 

·  Bachelor’s degree a plus
