JOB DESCRIPTION
In this role as a Retirement Implementation Analyst, you will be part of a dynamic team performing testing on the implementation of our pension/retirement products and communicating the results to various stakeholders. This role requires an intermediate proficiency with Excel, knowledge of pensions and solid communication skills. This role can be based in one of our offices or completely remote/work from home.
The Role
In the role of the Retirement Implementation Analyst, the Willis Towers Watson consultant applies their knowledge of pension administration to support both ongoing client service and software implementation activities. The Retirement Implementation Analyst provides support for our pension software delivery teams. In this role, the consultant may perform data analysis, develop plan documentation, and provide testing support for the Retirement practice during implementations of the eepoint software product. The Implementation Analyst, working closely with the Retirement Implementation Specialist and other members of the delivery team, helps ensure that pension administration processes and software (new implementations, upgrades and ongoing maintenance) accurately reflect client plan design features and comply with current pension legislation.
Specifically, this individual assists with data validation and preparation for conversion and ongoing loads, helps with identifying and documenting system requirements, and provides test planning and execution support to validate plan design and legislative changes. The role involves interaction and coordination with other members of the Retirement client delivery team, including the Retirement Implementation Specialist, development and other technical staff, and the Project Manager. It affords the opportunity to grow one’s knowledge of pension administration processes and software, data, and systems delivery while using consultative, problem solving, time management, technology, and communication skills.
This position can be located in any of our WTW offices in the US with some preference given to our Centers of Excellence located in Dallas, Houston, Detroit, Philadelphia, Chicago, Minneapolis or Denver. We will also consider someone who wants to work 100% from home but who is willing to travel to client sites and other WTW offices as needed.
Performance Objectives:
Your main responsibilities will be as follows:
Client
• Work with Retirement Implementation Specialist and assist in creation of systems requirement documents and data mapping for developers
• Analyze client-provided conversion and/or ongoing data files and prepare data files for load into the system database.
• Create test plans and conduct quality assurance checks including regression testing to ensure the integrity of system components.
• Contribute to the development of new tools, processes and solutions to create efficiencies and meet clients’ outsourcing needs
• Follow firm and line of business processes, protocols and quality standards in the development and deployment of solutions
• Assist with special projects as needed
• Increase efficiency within client teams by identifying ways to improve processes
• Demonstrate effectiveness when dealing with colleagues at all levels

The Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Math, Statistics, Actuarial Science or other major with significant quantitative course work and a strong academic record
• Experience in Microsoft Office products, including Project, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Experience with pension plans preferred, but not required.
• Detail oriented and demonstrated organizational skills
• Strong communication skills required, both verbal and written, including ability to interpret and document plan provisions.
• Effective listening skills.
• Demonstrate client service focus and flexibility in supporting client requests.
• Demonstrate commitment to quality and continuous improvement.
• Experience with SQL and database manipulation a plus.
