The Business
The Legal Department is responsible for advising on legal issues that arise in the course of business, ranging from litigation and claims, to commercial and corporate transactions and contracts, to employment law and compliance and regulatory issues. We provide seamless legal support on a global basis, with professional staff located in the US, Canada, UK, Continental Europe, Hong Kong, Japan, China and South Africa. The Role
Willis Towers Watson is seeking two diverse First Year law students to assist the Legal Department of a large, publicly-held, global brokerage, benefits, and human capital consulting company during the summer of 2019. The LCLD Internship program will run for eight to ten weeks and will require approximately 40 hours per week beginning Monday, May 13th or Monday, May 20th. The individual will be exposed to a wide range of general corporate legal matters, including contracts, licensing, employment law, insurance, trademarks, real estate, securities, litigation, etc. Our offices are located in Philadelphia, PA.
The 1L LCLD Scholars Program provides first-year law students the developmental opportunity to work side-by-side with attorneys and other legal specialists and to learn more about potential career paths within the legal profession and what it is like to work as an in-house attorney. All 1L LCLD Scholars will attend an LCLD Scholars Summit in Atlanta, Georgia from June 4-6, 2019.

• We are seeking to identify diverse students with excellent grades and outstanding research, communication and writing skills
• Must be available to work approximately 40 hours per week for the duration of the Program
• Must include cover letter and unofficial transcript
