The Business
The Willis Towers Watson Global Talent Acquisition Centre of Expertise provides state of the art, full life-cycle recruiting services. We partner with business leaders to define recruiting needs and develop a clear and comprehensive plan for achieving them. We develop attraction and sourcing strategies, create employment value propositions and recruiting tools, and manage a streamlined interview process and effectively close and on-board candidates.

The Role
Our Talent Acquisition team is evolving and we’re focused on a direct sourcing model and strategies which will change the game in candidate attraction, branding and process improvement. We are looking for an innovative, proactive and team orientated Junior Recruiter to complement our existing team.

As a Junior Recruiter based in London, you’ll have the autonomy to run your own portfolio which will span the Investment Risk and Reinsurance business segment, recruiting and sourcing for entry to mid-level roles located in various locations, as well as providing support to the Segment Lead Recruiter and team.

Ideally you’ll come from either in-house or agency recruitment and/or sourcing background. You’re naturally an ambitious individual who’s looking for the next step in your career where you’ll be given the scope to broaden your experience in a large corporate environment under the guidance of an experienced Recruiter, and alongside a supportive and collaborative team. You’re not afraid to roll your sleeves up and get stuck in, your bright disposition and flexible approach will hold you in good stead as you learn about some really interesting and high performing lines of business and the entry – mid level positions within it.

Role Scope:

Build credibility, relationships and reputation, focussing on establishing effective and meaningful rapport quickly with hiring managers and candidates; and embedding yourself within the wider WTW GB Talent Acquisition and HR Community:

Candidates:

·  Provide an excellent candidate experience throughout the hiring process, ensuring timely communication of next steps or outcomes from recruitment processes
·  Maintain relationships with new hires and promote the associate referral programme

Hiring Managers:

·  Educating new and existing hiring managers on best practice recruitment
·  Establish yourself as a trusted advisor by providing high quality client relationship management and offer creative cost-saving recruitment ideas, whilst following necessary processes;
·  Partnering with hiring managers to understand and learning about new business areas and roles

Talent Acquisition and HR:

·  Providing regular updates to the Segment Lead to review status of open roles, challenges, new scenarios and other important information
·  Ensuring that you update applicant tracking system, in order to provide accurate and timely reporting
·  Actively participate in Talent Acquisition team meetings for the business segment and Great Britain
·  Develop relationships with relevant HR Partners, HR Operations team and other areas of expertise within HR, ensuring communication channels are open regarding recruitment in the segment

Knowledge, skills & experience required:

·  Foundational recruitment experience, such as – but not limited to – understanding the end-to-end process, diverse direct sourcing options, CV screening, presenting inclusive and diverse candidates, conducting initial phone interviews, making verbal offers
·  Preferably experience in financial services, professional services, or the insurance industry
·  Knowledge of recruitment processes and principles in Great Britain
·  Experience with direct sourcing from Linkedin, job boards and other direct channels
·  Able to manage conflicting priorities and managing high volumes of work, through your flexible approach
·  Adept at thinking on your feet and having an innovative yet common-sense approach to what you do
·  Able to work proactively as part of a team ensuring cross sharing of expertise, ideas, best practice and candidates through the cross segment team
·  Proficiency in office software/systems (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with candidate management systems
·  An interest in social media and employer branding would be an advantage
