JOB DESCRIPTION
This position resides within corporate Human Resources on the U.S. Benefits Team.
The Role
The Benefits Analyst will be part of the health and welfare team in Benefits and will manage the day-to-day operations of many of the Willis Towers Watson U.S. Health and Welfare Plans, including both insured and self-funded medical, prescription drug, dental, vision, wellbeing, accounts, voluntary benefits, life insurance, disability and leave programs for active colleagues, expatriates and retirees.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Participate in the planning, development, implementation and administration of health and welfare programs, wellness and voluntary benefits.
• Administer and provide analysis for health and welfare benefits in support of Willis Towers Watson’s business goals and initiatives.
• Serve as day-to-day contact for escalated employee and retiree health and welfare benefits issues from the Willis Towers Watson Benefits Service Center and other outsourced third party administrators. Assist in resolving these issues.
• Coordinate annual biometric screening and flu shot offerings with outsourced vendor and local office site coordinators.
• Coordinate with payroll department and others as needed.
• Prepare and submit vendor invoices for payment.
• Develop and maintain open and positive communication with all internal and external contacts including other departments and outside organizations and third party administrators.
• Support special projects and other tasks as needed.
• Responsible for financial and enrollment reporting as requested.
The Requirements
•BS/BA degree
•Minimum of 2-5 years of related experience in benefits administration, including direct experience with ERISA plans, Section 125 cafeteria plans and consumer directed health plans (CDHP) in the U.S.
•Ability to research complex issues and develop recommended actions
•Ability to work in a high volume, fast-paced environment
•Well-organized individual with good time management and project management skills to manage multiple projects and priorities
•Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word and PowerPoint
•Excellent written and verbal communication skills and presentation skills
