JOB DESCRIPTION

Our Health and Benefits business helps large and mid-size clients control health and welfare plan costs, improve health outcomes and promote employee engagement through broad-based, state-of-the-art interventions. We provide solutions encompassing creative plan design, vendor evaluation and management, pricing and funding strategies, data analytics, valuation support, compliance and governance strategies. We also provide Specialty consulting services including clinical/health management program design, pharmacy solutions, disability/absence management strategies and claims audit services. Product based solutions such as our pharmacy purchasing coalition round out our broad-based suite of offerings.

The Role

WTW’s practice designs and deploys cutting-edge employee benefit and reward programs for today’s leading employers. Our clients range from medium and large employees and include innovative Silicon Valley tech startups, iconic cultural institutions, name brand retailers, engineering and architecture firms, and more. The Associate for the Helpline is critical support to the WTW clients providing best of service directly to employees and clients regarding their benefit offerings. This individual will gain the foundational skills in employee benefits and insurance to establish and advance their career at Willis Towers Watson.

General Responsibilities

·  Addressing clients’ employee inquiries regarding benefit offerings via telephone and emails
·  Updating call tracking system to retain the call log and utilization
·  Support Client Management teams on basic service issues 
·  Maintaining client contact information
·  Maintain client helpline folders for access to communications 
·  Support Willis Towers Watson values 

Communications

·  Must be customer service focused
·  Strong knowledge of insurance and benefits
·  Must understand claim process and carrier protocols 
·  Strong verbal and written communication skills
·  Assist in development and production of Employee Brochures, newsletters, websites for client communications
·  Assist as needed on HCP Team Engagement and Support

The Requirements

·  Bachelor’s degree preferred, CA Life Insurance degree a plus
·  Must be a team player but a self-starter
·  Ability to establish priorities, work independently, and proceed with objectives with limited supervision
·  Ability to handle and resolve client related issues
·  Ability to work in a fast-paced environment juggling multiple priorities
·  Computer skills which include proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point, and web-based applications
·  Demonstrate a commitment to building new skills
