The role
The Asset Management
Exchange (AMX)
The Asset Management Exchange (“AMX”) is an independent
institutional asset management marketplace designed to fundamentally transform
institutional investment for the benefit of the end saver. The managed funds
platform was launched last year and already allows asset owners to invest more
efficiently in hedge funds and tax efficient global equity funds with third party
managers. This will be expanded across
all asset classes over time. It is creating a smarter, easier and cheaper way
to connect asset owners to those who manage their money.
AMX is a start-up business within a large corporate,
meaning that the team is able to benefit from all of the advantages and
resources of Willis Towers Watson, while rapidly developing its own value
proposition for clients and its own brand.
The dedicated team is now close to 50 people.
People
· To
provide administrative support to a rapidly growing team, being available to
provide support at short notice at times, and be flexible in ensuring tasks are
completed and deadlines met
· Assisting
other members of the Digital & Marketing team and providing cover for the
wider administrative team as required
· Co-ordination
of client and internal meetings, checking attendee availability, booking rooms
and equipment, arranging global video and telephone conference calls
· Demonstrate
natural ease and effectiveness when dealing with clients/colleagues at all
levels.
Excellence
· Delivering
support that meets or exceeds expectations whilst being flexible to meet all
demands
· Full
diary management for the Chief Technology Officer; assistance with room
bookings and meeting scheduling for the Head of Marketing, Head of Business
Change and Head of Platforms
· To
provide administrative support to all members of the team, including, travel
booking, expense claims, invoice tracking, filing, photocopying, to confidently
deal with telephone calls/enquiries, deal with the post and assist in any other
administrative related matters, as requested
· Encouraging
and facilitating the use of collaboration tools across the team
· Update
and maintain the AMX new starter checklist, ensuring relevant equipment and
system access is requested and set up prior to joining, and providing a full
day one orientation to new members of the team
· To
coordinate both domestic and international travel arrangements including
flights, hotel and taxi bookings
· Accountable
for making sure the AMX team are educated on the implementation of new WTW
systems and all important dates
· Where
capacity permits:
· Responsible for
assisting the Marketing team with the ordering of AMX branded materials,
liaising with the supplier to ensure deadlines are met
· Assist with
organisation of AMX materials to conferences
· Preparing
PowerPoint presentations for internal and external use (excluding general
production of marketing and sales collateral)
· Ensure
that documents conform to house style
· Maintaining
AMX TCT SharePoint calendar and filing system
The requirements
· Highly proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
· One-to-One
experience of supporting senior team members as well as experience of
performing a team administrator role
· Proven abilityto organise and prioritise multiple
tasks to successfully meet deadlines
· To be proactive and possess the tenacity to
effectively support the senior team members
· Flexible,
adaptable and a good team player with excellent people skills
· Adaptable
to changing systems and internal processes
· Excellent
oral and written communication skills
· Technology
literate, makes effective use of office technology and most likely has a high
degree of familiarity with the personal device features and configuration
· Degree level qualification would be advantageous
