Job description

We specialise in the fields of music, events, travel, sport and fashion and are one of the leading lifestyle print magazine's throughout Australia keeping British, U.S. and all travellers in the know whilst embarking upon their adventures.

Our website receives lots of attention from the U.K, U.S.A, Canada, South East Asia and Australasia meaning that we are a global digital platform.

This is a 3 month internship that will require you to help optimise and upload articles, help to promote articles, work on advertising campaigns and contribute ideas for articles on a regular basis.

During your placement you will have the opportunity to learn SEO copy, elements of web developing.

The right candidate will also get to arrange and attend events and gigs, help with PR correspondence, and gain marketing experience.

This internship is suitable for candidates with easy access to South West London as the office is in Kingston.

The ideal candidate will be available 2-3 days a week to be in the office from 10am - 5:30pm. (Days can be flexible)

Travel costs are covered for an off-peak travel card zones 1-6. £8.90 per day.

We are an independent company with head offices in Australia. The UK branch is a small office, therefore you will be given hands on experience with the opportunity to develop and grow your skills, ready to present yourself for full time professional employment within the media and publishing industry.

Desired profile

Candidates must be university level educated with a relevant Media, English, Design, Journalism, PR, Marketing, Advertising degree.

Candidates must also have a keen interest in any of the following areas:

We will accept second year university students, but they must be able to fulfill 2-3 days per week and meet deadlines.
