Retail Assistant (Weekends pus some cover)

Job description

Wears London is a small independent boutique based in Greenwich. We are just about to lose our wonderful weekend sales assistant due to her university course and are Now looking for a superstar to join us.

Wears London promotes independent early stage designers of clothing, accessories and jewellery. We pride ourselves on knowing the story behind each designer and talking to our customers about them.

We are looking for a friendly, outgoing person that can be the second person on weekends (generally there are always two people on weekend days) and someone that can provide cover for sickness etc when needed, there may also be an opening for one weekday also which would mean working alone.

Desired profile

Ideally, rather than just having someone work as a sales assistant, we'd love you to have a interest in fashion and in independent designers and startups. There is an opportunity to get involved in social media, sourcing new designers and even events.

If you design items yourself then there may be an opportunity for your own designs to be included within the shop in return for time working within the shop.
