Job description
We have an exciting opportunity for a Junior Events Buyer based in our London office to produce exciting flash sales events for our UK and DE Website. This is an excellent opportunity for entrepreneurial, focused, and ambitious graduates who have a flair and passion for the home and are interested in a role with a rapid growth trajectory. We’re looking for an e-Commerce Event Buyer to work across multiple categories including furniture, home accessories, toys, baby and youth, home improvement and much more.
Responsibilities Include:
- Plan, manage and produce several Daily Sales promotional events per week to increase revenue and profitability targets
- Negotiate buying terms with suppliers - selection, price, quantity, through to delivery
- Develop a pipeline of sales events
- Collaborate with Merchandising/Event Production team to maximise sales.
- Maintain a variety of synchronized products
- Research of industry trends; keeping abreast of trends and new product ideas
- Analyse event performance data to determine areas of improvement
- Report on event and category performance periodically
- Manage client and vendor relationships
- Develop a pipeline to expand Events Buyer events
- Research markets with category focus and network with potential vendors at various events
- Hungry to produce and execute against an array of initiatives
