For one of our international clients we are looking for a General Ledger Accountant. The ideal person has got relevant working experience in Accounting, is analytically strong, international orientated, fluent in English and Dutch and has a pro active attitude.

The General Ledger Accountant is responsible for various accounting activities. Prepare accurate and timely financial reports and statements and ensure appropriate accounting control procedures.

Tasks & responsibilities

• Month end activities like revaluation & analysing the exchange differences


• Provide information / reports to internal and external parties


• Monthly reconciliation of various systems


• Preparation and execution of the monthly reporting activities


• Analyse and control GL accounts and cost centres


• Reconciling and specifying GL accounts and cost centres


• Preparation of Sox control activities


• Improve the processes, policies in support of organization’s mission 


• Ensure financial records are maintained in compliance with accepted policies and procedures

Skills & education

• English and Dutch language skills


• German language skills are preferable


• Finance degree on Bachelor or University level


• Minimum 3 years of experience in Finance and Accounting


• Accurate, analytical and problem solving


• Attention to detail and high level of accuracy


• Must have strong experience with ERP-systems and Microsoft Excel


• Driver license and preferable a car
