EMEA Supply Chain (Pricing) Intern (Paid full time- 750PM/5 Months)

Job description:

Waldom is looking for a self-motivated and focused Supply Chain/Business Administration graduate with an affinity for numbers,and strong data skills. In our newly formed Pricingteam, we value perceptive employees who can provide real insight and understanding. We need an intern who can assist on Supply Chain, Pricing and Data projects, and in answering Pricing questions from our Sales team. In addition, we are searching for somebody who is always seeking improvements in their skills, processes and analysis, and to assist in the building of a long-term strategy. It is expected that the internship will develop into a full-time job following excellent performance and demonstration of growth.

You will report into a Manager based in Amsterdam and this positon may include some travel to the US and Asia.

Core responsibilities:

• 
  Be a key part of a small, focused and close global Pricing and BI team responsible for maintaining, improving and analyzing databases of sales, purchasing and inventory history, and for providing Supply Chain/Pricing analysis
  


• 
  Providerecommendations and insight that offer real added value to management and internal stakeholders
  


• 
  Assist on a project to optimize Pricing within the order entry process. Strive to improve current reporting processes and reports
  


• 
  Assist on pricebooks and contract pricing for key customers
  

• 
  Supply chain analytics and/or Pricing analytics work experience OR
  


• 
  Strong understanding of Supply Chain or Business Administration through academic studies
  

• 
  An affinity for numbers
  


• Good English


• Works well under pressure to provide accurate and timely work output


• 
  Good experience in Excel
  


• Keen eye for detail and accuracy, self-organized and self-motivating
