Regulatory Affairs Officer - Treated Articles
Excellent opportunity to join an ambitious speciality chemical company focussed on developing biocidal / antimicrobial solutions for a range of applications. Your role will be to provide regulatory support to the technical and commercial team, to ensure products are compliant with global regulations and to research and develop expertise in registration / notification processes in new markets and global regions.
Suitable candidates are likely to have a chemistry or microbiology related degree / higher degree along with experience of chemical regulatory affairs / product stewardship. Specific knowledge / experience of biocide regulations would be very relevant - knowledge of REACH and / or CLP would also be useful. The key activity will be the interpretation of regulations effecting treated articles and the provision of advice and support to technical and commercial teams. Additional duties will include checking the compliance of SDSs, labels, classifications and ensuring compliance with REACH. Confident communication skills and high levels of organisation are essential.
