What you will do
Wash Bay Operative
£12.81pr hr - 40 hours per week Monday to Friday, occasional Saturday as required
Hours: 0800 to 1700 with 1-hour unpaid break
We will also look to give training for additional fork lift truck duties
Responsibilities:
· Washdown, operate pressure washers, steam cleaners, and other cleaning equipment to clean presented vehices
· Keep the wash bay clean and free from debris
· Emptying the rubbish and recycling bins around the wash bay
· Cleaning spills or accidents
· Safely apply industrial cleaning chemicals and using them at the appropriate levels
· Keeping the cleaning chemicals supplies stocked
· Maintaining the cleaning equipment in full working order and report any repairs that are needed
· Completing a set number of daily tasks as specified by any Supervisors
· Ensure that all equipment and materials are properly stored and secured when not in use
· Perform regular maintenance on cleaning equipment to ensure proper and safe operation
· Responsible for the removal of hazards and the promotion of a health and safety-compliant environment
T his role will be dirty and wet, working outside in all weathers in the wash bay area . We will give training for forklift truck duties as well.
