What you will do
At FSDV SED department you will contribute to the transformation of our company, the transport industry and society at large. You will join a global product development team with these main responsibilities:
· Verify and validate the accurate and precise working of the Electronic Control Units (ECUs) within the system.
· Verify ECU's and electronic network of a truck as defined in the test strategy;
· Verify the implementation of software functions, especially related to Safe & Efficient Driving (SED);
· Identify test cases as per the test strategy to cover all functionalities;
· Perform activities according to the defined test plan;
· Execute the test cases on the electronic network/ECU/component and review the test data;
· Report non-conformance and raise issues as per defined strategy;
· Review the test specification to make sure that the requirements are testable;
· Work in sync with system engineering and software development teams to better understand requirements for effective testing; participate in project meetings as necessary;
In addition to this, the team members are also encouraged to come up with new methods for improving the verification process and to ensure efficient verification by reducing cycle time and improving productivity.
Who are you?
Education, Skills and Experience Required :
· Engineering Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Automation and Control, Mechatronic or similar;
· Strong experience in testing of electronic controls in automobile industry;
· Automotive engineering knowledge;
· Very Good Knowledge of software tools in testing (CANalyzer / CANoe etc.);
· Knowledge of communication protocols (e.g. CAN, LIN, J1939, UDS, Ethernet);
· Good communication, problem solving and analysis skills;
· ECU and electrical network testing skills;
· Advanced written and spoken English level.
Meritorious to have:
· Automation testing knowledge;
· Experience in system level testing;
· Knowledge of scripting language like CAPL, Python;
