Your Future Team

We are a unit in DDA Manufacturing, Supply Chain & Purchasing  is a global unit within Digital & IT with the responsibility for IT solutions and IT projects related to the manufacturing or logistics. This position is to work in  Digital Delivery GTO Europe & Brazil Manufacturing (E&BM)  and  Digital Delivery GTO Powertrain Production (Powertrain) .

 

Manufacturing, Supply Chain and Purchase team Brazil You will have more than 30 passioned colleagues engaged in 5 Squads (Production, Control, Supply Chain, Warehouse and Plant Maintenance & Operational Support) who understand communication is everything and everything is communication. O que você vai fazer:

At  Digital & IT  you will contribute to the transformation of our company, the transport industry and society at large. You will: 

·  Influence how legacy applications will be rewritten in new technologies
·  Actively participate in all agreed agile events and support the business on finding techniques for effective Product Goal definition and new features in collaboration with the Squad
·  Propose changes that make the system more efficient and/or reduces operation or maintenance cost
·  Gather functional and non-functional (including security) requirements from the stakeholders
·  Develop detailed designs of applications/database based on the business requirements/User Stories
·  Develop efficient software and unit test, refining and rewriting it as necessary and communicate with any team member involved in the product increment
·  Maintain all software engineering activities across Product/Squad
·  Develop high quality, scalable and maintainable systems using Service Oriented Architecture (SOA)
·  Support end-users in runtime (second line support)
·  Ensure compliance with relevant Group IT processes, methods and tools and business processesEnsure applicable IT security directive is followed for the service
·  Create good practices and propose improvements using VPS (Volvo Production System) mindset and tools
·  Fully support the migration of legacy applications and work on innovation ideas based on Industry 4.0, especially Data Analytics.

 

Education

·  Proficient English and fluent Portuguese, both written and spoken
·  Relevant university degree in IT

Quem é você?

As Software Engineer / Full stack Application Developer  you will be able to combine your deep interest in technology with a customer and upstream mindset to secure we deliver quality assured solutions for GTO Europe & Brazil Manufacturing and GTO Powertrain Production.You will be the driver of software development during all product development phases (planning, design, implementation, deployment and maintenance).

You will analyze, build, test and maintain software applications that are tailored to business specific needs.

You have a logical, analytical and creative approach to problems and the ability to communicate with customers, colleagues and management to explain complex issues.

You have high performance working as a Full stack Application Developer and is eager to learn new development languages.

You have high software development experience in .Net Core: C#, ASP.NET, MVC, DDD, SQL Server and knowledge on Cloud, Azure DevOps and AgileContinuous improvement is in your DNA and you have an overall knowledge on Industry 4.0 pillarsYour project in GitHub opened for evaluation and Agile certification will be considered a plus.
