Infrastructure & Onsite Services (IOS)
Infrastructure & Onsite Services oversees all Volvo Group D&IT infrastructure services. As most of these services are delivered by a partner, the mission is focused on governing and controlling this partner, as well as managing the remaining IT infrastructure delivery teams in Volvo.
Application Infrastructure
Application Governance & Service Integration is part of the Application Services department within IOS.
The team is divided into three functions/teams:
· Application Operations & SAP Services
· Application Compliance Management
· Service Integration
We are now looking for a Service Leader – Application Compliance Management
In this role you will be reporting to the Service Area Manager in Application Governance within Volvo Group D&IT/ Infrastructure & Onsite Services/Application Services.
You will operate in a global context, having several interfaces with Volvo stakeholders, to the infrastructure partners and with Business area stakeholders. The Service Leader – Application compliance Management acts on behalf of the whole management team of one or several application development organizations to coordinate and ensure progress of Priority 0 initiatives and stay up to date in their application landscape including, but not limited to Infrastructure services and processes, cybersecurity standards and compliance requirements.

You are well structured, solution driven and proactive to handle potential issues from start. You are at ease to support prioritization work and to handle escalations when appropriate. You are familiar with Infrastructure services and application delivery and eager to continuously improve ways of working.
Role mission and context
You will act on behalf of the management team of one or several application development organizations, to coordinate and ensure progress of stay up to date activities including, but not limited to infrastructure, cybersecurity standards and compliance requirements.
· Interact with IOS process managers and Service Delivery Leaders (for runtime) and IOS project managers (for onetime) to understand topics and actions expected from respective delivery unit, to break it down in information sharing and request for action. This will be supported by the IOS TACC (Transform, Adopt, Coordinate, Communicate) team.
· Follow-up and build consolidated views for the delivery unit, with drill down per solution center.
· Interact with delivery teams in your respective delivery unit to support and handle escalations.
· Consolidate feedback, and on request, collect and ensure good quality of requirements for areas in scope.
· Follow up that services are delivered according to contracted supplier obligations. Ensure that service is delivered according to the SLA defined and KPI agreed, but also that the services are delivered as per service description and as per expectation
Key Responsibilities
· Facilitate and orchestrate improvements needed to support the activities in the mission scope and support the team in enabling a consistent way of working towards the Volvo organization.
· Interact with many stakeholders on all levels of the organization to promote and facilitate activities in scope.
· Identify roadblocks and help the organization to escalate to the right levels.
· Be part of the Business Change Management layer between the activity owners and all our stakeholders in the Volvo Group.
· Participate and support team in unit management team meetings to follow up progress and deviations on stay-up to date activities and ensure that escalations are handled.
· Coordinate and supervise a systematic approach that can be used to secure successful completion of Prio 0 activities and IOS initiated Runtime and Onetime activities that requires Application teams’ contribution.
· Effectively prioritize activities and tasks to ensure best results for the team.
· Work closely with the IOS TACC (Transform, Adopt, Coordinate, Communicate) team to promote activities and provide information sessions and trainings for areas in scope.
· Interact with IOS process managers, Service Leaders and project managers to understand topics and actions expected from delivery units.
· Participate and/or lead initiatives and projects in areas of responsibility
· Coordinate and supervise a systematic approach to secure successful completion of activities such as below, (as well as new areas):
· Priority 0 Initiatives in the organization
· Lifecycle Management for Application infrastructure activities
· Security transformation initiatives
· Server Vulnerability management/Application Vulnerabilities
· Unwanted Software removal
· Infrastructure risk remediation
· Lifecycle Management of Service Continuity Plans (SCP)
· Compliance gaps remediation
· Devsecops implementation
Required competencies and experience
· University/Master’s Degree or equivalent in relevant area
· Service oriented mindset and business mindset
· Experience of governance: directing, planning and monitoring of IS/IT services
· Experience from functional management in a global context
· Strong experience within Application Operations
· Experience with steering of projects and programs
· Knowledge and experience of ITIL, SIAM is an advantage
· Excellent communication & presentation skills
· Possess a strong inner drive to reach results and secure deliveries.
· Strong organizational skills, with the ability to handle numerous tasks simultaneously and prioritize topics.
· Complete proficiency in English
