During 15 intense and exciting months, our Operations Graduate Program will give you a holistic view of our operational and logistic activities, including both the local and global perspective. You will be working with the technologies of tomorrow, building the products of the future – electric, connected and automated. In parallel, you will grow as a person, through individual and team development sessions.
You will have a permanent position from day one, with a manager and mentor to support you. You will experience several local and international on the job-rotations and work on business-critical projects developing your competencies for tomorrow. You will take a deep dive into some specific areas of our business such as manufacturing, health and safety, quality, and continuous improvements, while also learning about the end-to-end supply chain, aftermarket parts and our remanufacturing operations. In addition, you will gather with other program participants to take part in trainings and events designed to help you grow into your future career at the Volvo Group.

Our organization:
Volvo Group plan to establish a Battery cell production in Mariestad and to strengthen the project organization, we are looking for a graduate student within the Construction and Infrastructure team. The project organization consists of several teams such as Industrial processes, Construction & Infra structure, Supply chain, EHSS, Communication and more.
You will be part of the Construction & Infrastructure team (C&I).

Our team consist of experienced professionals in the Construction area – from design to execution/construction as well as technical subject matter experts. In addition, we are supported by supporting functions such as planning, communication, sustainability, digitalization etc.
The construction team drives the areas of responsibility in proximity with the other areas in the project. We are a team with high level of energy and passion for our work and responsibilities. Main activities and responsibilities:
Do you want to be a key player to develop solutions for improving energy consumption and sustainability?
You work in the construction domain as part of the technical team with focus on setting the energy efficiency strategy, secure a design that supports the strategy and secure an implementation of the energy system on site. The energy area covers electricity, cooling and heating, dry-and clean rooms etc.
You work in close connection with other teams in the organization.
In this role you will advise and coordinate with different stakeholders to implement energy efficient technologies and propose relevant innovative solutions. Be able to analyse energy data to identify opportunities for improvement. Develop and promote sustainable energy policies and systems within the organization. Build a system that is suitable for our future Giga factory by knowledge in intelligent technologies, such as AI, IoT.
Who are you?
To be successful in this role you have basic competence in MEP, energy and environmental science and management or in related fields. You have knowledge of technical systems and energy management systems.
You need to be able to create clear, simple, and useful working methods and to have good understanding and knowledge within digitalization technologies.

Required knowledge/experience:
• Master's (MSc) or Bachelor's (BSc) degree in the relevant field
• Background in engineering within sustainability, energy and environmental science, appropriate to above
• Fully proficient in English (written and spoken)
• Maximum two years of previous full-time working experience, prior to or after graduation. Work during studies is not included
Meritorious
• Knowledge in technology and working methods in the areas of Energy management, MEP systems, Industry 5.0, loT, digitalization and Data Analytics
• Swedish language
