Position Description

The main requirements in this role are:
·  Minimum 2 years of similar experience or Service Engineer experience in Marine industry
·  Strong technical background with University Engineering degree
·  Basic 2D and 3D CAD experience is an asset
·  Excellent communication skills with strong customer focus
·  Strong interpersonal skills and ability to network effectively with the customers and colleague in the Sweden office
·  Excellent command of English, both verbal and written
·  Good in MS Office applications and other software
·  Ability to Travel ( Domestic and International)
·  No military obligation The main responsibilities of the position are
·  Providing technical support for OEM's and boat builders. Interfacing with OEM boat builders to integrate Volvo Penta propulsion products into new OEM boats
·  Commissioning of all sold products, marine and industrial engines and accessories
·  Working with engineering and application department personnel to solve product related issues and provide feedback on issues in the field
·  Conducting sea trials of new/current model boats to verify correct product application and installation
·  Supporting for sales people and dealers in all related subjects, spent 80 % of his time in the field
·  Checking and approving all installations then preparing all related documents to submit boat builders and OEM's
·  Giving technical advice to boat builders, OEM's and sales people
·  Attending and participating in OEM Dealer Sales Meetings, boat shows, and other events as needed
