What you will do

At Manufacturing Supply Chain and Purchase Powertrain Production, you will contribute to the transformation of our company, the transport industry, and society at large.

You will:

·  Focus on the development of new services in appointed new technology and work with migrating older services into newer technology.
·  Architect scalable services using .NET 8/9 and ASP.NET Core.
·  Apply Clean Architecture and 12-Factor App principles.
·  Drive CI/CD and GitOps practices with GitHub Actions and ArgoCD.
·  Implement resilient service communication using Dapr.
·  Troubleshoot and optimize Kubernetes deployments on AKS.
·  Mentor developers and set technical direction across teams.
·  Lead the delivery and development of IT solutions that support business requirements, using a range of technologies, products, and platforms.
·  Act as the Tech Lead for the North Star Review process, maintain Life Cycle Management, and propose improvements to current solutions.
·  Collaborate with customers and team members to identify needs, provide expertise, and ensure solutions meet architecture guidelines and business partner quality requirements.
·  Research advanced technologies, build prototypes and PoCs, and drive cost-effective, innovative solutions.

 

Your future team

You will join the Köping Digital Factory team, a diverse group of Software Engineers, a Digital Product Owner, Solution Architect, and Scrum Master. Together, we drive the digitalization of the Köping Factory while maintaining and decomposing legacy solutions. Our team culture is collaborative, innovative, and focused on continuous improvement.

Who are you?

Essential requirements:

·  Strong experience with .NET Core / .NET 8/9, ASP.NET Core, and C#.
·  Proven track record migrating legacy systems to microservices.
·  Hands-on with Kubernetes, Azure AKS, and Docker.
·  Familiarity with Dapr, Entity Framework, and Entra ID.
·  CI/CD expertise with YAML pipelines, GitHub Actions, and ArgoCD.
·  Knowledge of OpenTelemetry, GitVersion/SemVer, and RESTful APIs.
·  Advanced English language skills.
·  Able to work from Volvo offices in Köping, Eskilstuna or Skövde.

 

Nice to have:

·  Certifications like AZ-900 or AZ-204.
·  Experience with Backstage and developer onboarding.
·  Experience in digital transformation within manufacturing or industrial environments.
·  Familiarity with COTS solutions and integration.
