You will be part of the group of controlling analysts that performs distinct activities with specific skills that uses their differences to complement and help each other in the Buses Latin America business control. Our team provide business analysis and financial direction to our organization from product development to production, commercialization till aftermarket, being part of the planning and the executing process.

All of that with constant interaction with the business leader’s financial community in both Curitiba and Global Organizations.

What will you be doing?

You will play a critical role in financial planning, analysis, and decision support for Volvo Bus Latin America by applying Volvo Group financial policies and principles. You will collaborate closely with senior management to drive strategic initiatives, optimize financial performance and ensure effective resource allocation:

·  Lead the financial planning process for VBLA, including budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning.
·  Develop, manage and submit for approval the consolidated financial forecasts and budgets of VBLA.
·  Conduct variance analysis and provide insights to senior management.
·  Control warranty and campaigns provisions and analyze warranty variances.
·  Ensure a healthy operating capital and propose actions to improve the cash flow.
·  Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and financial metrics.
·  Collaborate with Latin America Controllers and Commercial Leaders to understand operational drivers and financial implications.
·  Provide financial insights and recommendations to support decision-making.
·  Prepare accurate and timely financial reports, including monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements with deviation and performance metrics analysis.
·  Ensure compliance with Volvo’s financial policies and procedures.
·  Evaluate potential opportunities, risks and scenarios to support strategic decisions and control cluster provisions. Develop risk mitigation strategies and monitor the effectiveness of risk management activities.
·  Foster a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
·  Drive improvements and innovation process within the Finance and Business Control functions, driving efficiency, accuracy, and effectiveness of the financial processes.

Who are you?

·  Experienced in Finance or Business Control.
·  Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Administration, Economics or correlated.
·  MBA or post-graduation will be considered a differential.
·  Good financial analytical view being able to understand the end-to-end financial impacts on the areas or responsibility.
·  Strong analytical skills with proficiency in financial modeling and forecasting.
·  Microsoft Office package advanced user – mainly in Excel.
·  SAP knowledge. BCS, Hyperion, Essbase or Score systems is a plus.
·  Fluent English. Spanish is an advantage.
·  Good communication skills, being able to present and defend your position at the same time as building partnerships at all levels.
