Job description
Volo Commerce is looking for an IT Support Technician to provide IT Hardware and Software support and coaching in a MS Windows desktop environment to all functions of the business.
Working closely with the IT Manager, the role incorporates a wide range of responsibilities including installation, configuration, upgrades and fault resolution. In addition to support tasks, you will also have the opportunity to contribute to IT Projects, furthering your professional knowledge and career development.
You will be an independent thinker who enjoys finding answers and learning new things. With a good level of basic knowledge, you will already have some exposure to supporting others with hardware and software problems, and want a career that builds on that knowledge in a professional environment.
Desirable skills/experience may include;
- MS Windows 7/8.1/10
- Windows Server Operating Systems
- Office 2013/2016
- Support of other windows applications
- Active Directory
- Windows VPN
- Some familiarity with Linux would be helpful.
