Role reports to: Head of Central Finance

Job purpose:

Management of all internal & external reporting requirements. Responsible for the completion of the quarterly, year-end and statutory audits.

Key Activities:

1. Oversee the month-end actual process to ensure that all deadlines are met and issues are resolved on a timely basis.

2. Ensure accuracy and timely delivery of IFRS monthly and annual accounts for the Group in line with timetable set out by VW AG.

3. Co-ordinate the completion of annual statutory accounts, arrange sign off with Audit and final approval from BOM.

4. As Audit co-ordinator, ensure timely completion of quarterly and annual audits.  Ensure that audit recommendations are implemented and tracked.

5. Ensure that consistent accounting policies are applied throughout the company and are appropriately communicated.

6. Ensure that the correct accounting structure is in place within SAP.

7. Financial analysis of performance and reporting to Finance Director, BoM and Group as required.

8. Work with Head of Central Finance to implement, track and report on financial KPIs within the department and initiate accountability as required.

9. Initiating improvements to processes and reports where appropriate.

• Strong computer skills e.g. PowerPoint, Microsoft office, excel etc.
• Very good knowledge of SAP
• Strong accounting/auditing background. Ideally treasury experience also.
• Determination and willingness to solve complex and detailed reconciliation issues
Highly numerate

Desirable:
Good knowledge of IFRS and UK Gaap.
