Full Time Fixed Term Contract until 31 March 2017
Role reports to: Group Liquidity and Control Accountant

Working within Central Finance as Group Treasurer – ultimately responsible for cash management of the business, but also treasury accounting entries and reporting.
Completion of daily cash files to illustrate key movements across our local accounts and on GTP (Global Treasury Platform). Reconciliation of movement to bank statements.
Key Activities:
Treasury & Banking
• Management of cash holdings on both local and GTP accounts
• Daily reconciliation of entries on SAP
• Administration of money market deals with VGS
• Banking of cheques and other deposits
• Submit all Accounts Payable payments to GTP
• Submit all Accounts Receivable collections to GTP
• Production of relevant banking documentation (e.g. bank mandates & guarantees).
• Send FX update to Financial Director
Forecasting & Reporting
• Input of cash inflows & outflows into Trinity system (Group cash forecasting system)
• Validation of data integrity in Trinity, including import and export of data
• Provide monthly variance analysis on Trinity actuals/forecast to VW AG
• Alignment with GLCA regarding Indirect & Direct Liquidity Forecasting
• Complete interest forecast and actuals on SAP
• Generate daily, weekly and monthly actual reporting and forecasting on cash-flow, banking result and investment strategy (deposits with VGS)
• Working with GLCA to complete, understand and improve Direct Liquidity
Accounting
• Month-end interest accrual and deposit entries
• Completion of balance sheet reconciliations
• Completion of Audit Deliverables
• Reallocation of foreign exchange to brands
• Responsibility for monitoring and approving the Global Expense Audit queue and user management
• Ownership of Benefits in Kind; update changes, run reports, reconciliations
• Assist the Payroll Manager, adding new starters, leavers, internal movements and any ad hoc requests
• Assist GLCA with annual Stock Count; preparation meetings with all brands, collating data, reconcile anomalies and report to the auditors
