About the roles

Playing a key role in the leadership of our sales and aftersales teams, you’ll inject the commerciality and customer-focus in equal measure. Needless to say, you’ll come armed with lots of experience in retail, FMCG, hospitality or another B2B or B2C background. Part of our Field Force – the sales team that works with our retail networks and fleet customers – you could be based in England, Scotland or Wales. See what direction you could take:

Area Fleet Managers
Put all your B2B sales success to fantastic use in this corporate-facing role. You won’t just develop and secure new business with leasing and contract hire customers. You’ll also help to grow our retailer network, building the sort of great relationships that drive loyalty long into the future.

Area Service & Parts Managers
Taking charge of around 15 retailers, everything you do will support brand strategy and VW Group performance. You’ll champion customer satisfaction and aftersales service in our retail businesses. All thanks to your unique mix of drive, determination and ideally retail sector experience too.

Area Sales Managers
To succeed as an Area Sales Manager, you’ll already have a record of enhancing the customer experience – probably in retail, FMCG, leisure or hospitality. Leading 15 retailers to raise the bar in customer service sales, everything you do will support brand strategy and inspire your people to go the extra mile.

About you

To help drive our world famous brands on to even greater success, you’ll be full of ambition. Excited by the prospect of developing your career across our entire business, you’ll have plenty of transferable commercial skills. You won’t need an automotive background. More important is your ability to push the envelope in sales performance and customer satisfaction. All while keeping a firm grip on profitability.  

Working at this level means standing out from the crowd. So you’ll be used to working on prestige brands and championing high quality delivery, whether collaborating with in-house teams or hitting the road and developing our retail network.
