Job description
The right candidate will have customer service experience in a technical support role within a B2B manufacturing or distribution environment. The person will be an enthusiastic team player with the ability to prioritise, will demonstrate good attention to detail and enjoy taking on new challenges and develop within a demanding environment.
- Technical knowledge or 'A' level maths/physics would be an advantage but not necessary.
- Recommending solutions to presented applications and challenges.
- Providing prompt and comprehensive responses to customer queries relating to quotations and prices for the above and to general enquiries. Become the customer's voice within the business and aspire to exceed customer expectation and to develop and optimize the relationship.
- Qualification and action or allocation of enquiries from new prospects.
- Pro-active approach of existing and potential customers in support of external sales activities.
- Order management of designated accounts.
- Producing reports and other documents as deemed necessary in line with technical and customer expectations.
- Coordination of product returns in line with the defined RMA process.
- Assisting Customer Services team with any technical queries they may have and entering orders to the system.
- Delivery of all daily processes with consistent accuracy while working within tight time lines.
