We are looking for an Environmental officer VIE (F/M) who will join the dynamic environment team of Freyssinet de México .

What can you expect as an Environmental Officer @Freyssinet de México?
Your main role will be to support the environmental team with a range of environmental tasks. You will focus on a number of areas:
Environmental Management and Compliance:
· Manage environmental aspects related to site operations and construction projects (e.g., fuel consumption, hazardous residual materials, water consumption).
· Ensure compliance with environmental authorization conditions and requirements.
· Conduct thorough environmental assessments and provide recommendations for improvement.
· Participate as an observer in internal environmental audits.
Sustainability Initiatives and Best Practices:
· Participate in the implementation of environmental initiatives, group's solutions, and best practices.
· Develop and integrate environmental solutions and sustainable practices into the company's operations.
· Be a force for proposals for continuous improvements and new solutions.
· Provide ideas for environmental care campaigns.
Environmental Data and Analysis:
· Consolidate extra-financial indicators and strengthen expertise in analyzing the environmental impacts.
· Evaluate the environmental impact of our products in the factory through simplified lifecycle analysis (LCA) in order to reduce their impact and obtain environmental data from our suppliers.
Training and Support:
· Conduct support, training and energize the Eco-leader network and QSE team.
What about you?
You’ll be a great fit if:
· You are an engineering school or university graduate, with a degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.
· You have a strong understanding of environmental regulations and standards. A first experience in lifecycle analysis and impact assessment methodologies is a plus.
· You’re looking for assignments that give you a sense of responsibility and high autonomy.
· You can define yourself through a methodical and analytical mind, and strong interpersonal skills such as open-mindedness, curiosity, and most of all, a tenacious can-do attitude!
· You’re looking forward to being part of a team where you’ll be keen to learn and face new challenges together.
· You show an international mindset which will allow you to enjoy what Mexico can offer to the fullest.
· You speak fluent Spanish and English.
· You have your driving license.
Quick Reminder about the VIE program:
The VIE program requires you to:
· Be a European citizen aged between 18 and 28 on the date of registration, whatever training level.
· Be a graduate student, with a fluent level in English.
· Have never done any V.I.E. in the past.
· Not have worked previously in the host country.
