Job description

For our Major Projects Direction, we look for a Method Engineer for the Bletchley Viaduct Rehabilitation Project (between London & Birmingham).
In this position, you are in charge of preparing site methods related to Assembly and Operations of Major Plant.
Your main tasks are to:
· Prepare site methods for jacking and propping operations
· Perform temporary works design for items designed at project level
· Manage drafting resources to produce methods drawings
· Review lifting plans and method statements involving temporary works
· Attend technical and progress meetings as required
· Assist the Engineering manager in managing the temporary works external checkers
· Review temporary works design performed by Sub-Contractors
· Provide input to temporary works design program
· Liaise with BIM manager to provide input in term of temporary works
Profile
Graduated from a Civil Engineering School, you have at least 5 years of experience in site methods or temporary works design, with a knowledge of post tensioning and viaduct construction/repair.
You have a good knowledge of steel and concrete design, of plant with a focus on lifting plant and in design softwares.
You are recognized for your good computer skills and your interpersonal skills.
