As a Internal Support team for Vinci Energies UK & ROI, we have a new opportunity for a technically focused and highly skilled IT Support Engineer to join our technical team.

This is a UK based with 22 offices situated around UK & ROI, supporting a range of software and hardware.

Role Overview:

We are looking for an experienced 2nd/3rd line IT Support Engineer to join the technical team in Coventry. We need a knowledgeable and skilled Engineer for this role, who has the experience of working in a busy technical helpdesk. You’ll be able to demonstrate strong communication skills and will be able to provide examples of great customer service.

Typical responsibilities include:

·  Taking escalated calls from customers around the UK
·  Remotely accessing customer environments to carry out detailed fault diagnostics
·  Providing excellent levels of customer service at all times
·  Travelling to customer sites as required for planned meetings or project work
·  Running daily checks on backups and carrying out preventative maintenance on customer environments
·  Preparing and building customer equipment as required
·  Completing small projects as required, including researching and testing new products and technologies

Profile

We're looking for:

·  Technical requirements are essential with a number of years’ experience
·  Knowledge of Microsoft cloud solutions including Office 365 and Azure
·  Proven experience with Desktop & Server solutions across the Microsoft stack.
·  Good understanding of Network platforms. Ability to configure Cisco routers and Fortinet firewalls
·  Overall appreciation of system security, requirements and proven experience with relevant software and hardware solutions.
·  WiFi solution experience & knowledge, with Cisco etc.
·  Candidates with Microsoft Certifications would prove advantageous
·  Active Directory
·  Windows 10
·  Office 365
·  Hyper V
·  VMware and Citrix administration
·  Network fault finding and diagnostics
·  Network cabling and patching
·  Backup technologies: VEEAM
·  Experience with Solar Winds Server and Applications
·  Monitoring software would prove advantageous
