Role: Junior Technical Business Analyst

Location: Wythenshawe, Manchester

Salary: £18,000 - £22,000 (depending on experience)

Type: Full time, Permanent - Monday to Friday

Role will include but not limited to:

Working closely with the software development team, and in particular the team’s existing Business Analyst who will help mentor the new role, you will be responsible for developing technical specifications and driving them through the development team using an AGILE based methodology, in particular S C U M. Candidates must be a real "problem solver" and have a genuine passion or interest in seeing technical projects through from start to finish, often based around the requirements that they put together. Essential Skills

For this role we are looking for candidates to be the best in their field - to bring this experience and hit the ground running in our very busy department. Candidates must be highly articulate, excellent time management skills but candidates with exceptional transferable skills will be considered. You must be able to develop an excellent understanding of our business needs, along with building strong internal relationships at all levels.

We passionately believe in providing a top notch service and believe this is implemented in all we do. Your day will consist of creating functional requirement documents including wireframes, clearly and concisely. You will have the drive and determination to work at this level, creating detailed user guides for new systems based on the requirements gathered, tested and implemented. You will need self motivation and have a positive approach to everything you do, as you will be spending some of your working day unsupervised. Not only are strong communication skills required for our external customers, but you will be required to build and sustain relationships with all internal customers across the business.

Preferred skills:

You will also have a high level of professionalism in all that they do, with the added experience of Team foundation server and Sharepoint. A Degree in Business Information Technology would be a definite advantage in this role. Whilst working with targets may be new to you, we would expect you to pull together as a team and exceed. We also would expect you to have a good working knowledge of most software packages.
