Role: Junior Software Developer

Location: Wythenshawe, Manchester

Salary: £18,000 - £23,000 (depending on experience)

Type: Full time, Permanent - Monday to Friday

Essential Skills

For this role we are looking for candidates to be eager to learn and take on new challenges, that don’t mind stepping out of their comfort zone and developing new skills. You will have a strong interest in developing your skills in business systems programming using cutting edge technologies such as Visual Studio 2013, C#, ASP.NET, MVC, SQL Server 2008, Web Services, WCF, XML, AJAX and Team Foundation Server in an agile development environment. Not only are strong communication skills required for our external customers, but you will be required to build and sustain relationships with all internal customers across the business.

Preferred skills:

We are looking for skills such as outstanding interpersonal skills and the ability to work as a team as we would expect you to pull together as a team and exceed all expectations. We also would expect you to have a good working knowledge of all the above as well as being educated to degree level in Computer Science or similar IT related discipline. Commercial experience desirable however not essential.

The candidate needs to have the ability to be able to work well under pressure, to deadlines and be able to multi-task and prioritise workloads as necessary. If you have experience that we are looking for, then we would love to hear from you.
