Job Description
Veolia Water Technologies' Hydrex Chemical Solutions Group is seeking a Water Management Technician in the greater Baltimore/Frederick MD, and Washington D.C. areas. This position involves the installation, commissioning, maintenance, and repair of a variety of industrial and commercial water and wastewater treatment equipment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Collect and test water samples to determine concentration levels and impurities and generate a Veolia Vision service report
·
Perform all scheduled maintenance, service, and new installations of water treatment equipment.
·
Responsible for accurate record keeping of client data such as residual content of chemicals, water turbidity, and water pressure and chemical inventories.
·
Comply with all client safety requirements and training.
·
Coordinate with other operators throughout customer locations in order to maintain the plants water treatment equipment.
·
Be present for all annual or semi annual equipment inspections or shutdown and be capable of generating an inspection report.
·
Coordinate with Veolia purchasing department to order water treatment supplies, such as equipment and chemicals, in order to maintain the client’s water treatment equipment and chemical inventory.
·
Compile data for monthly operating reports to in house management and client management and during annual reviews
·
Responsible for training client’s personnel in the proper operating procedures for water treatment equipment.
·
Troubleshoot problems within client’s water treatment equipment and coordinate repairs as necessary.
·
Operate and maintain a company service vehicle.
Qualifications
Education and Experience Requirements:
·
High School Degree required, College Degree or training equivalent preferred.
·
Must be proficient with MS Office.
·
1 - 3 years of related work experience is required.
