Job Description

Seureca is looking for a VIE/PANGEO - Potable water engineer (M/W) in DJIBOUTI

You'll be joining Team of 5 members, and you will report to the Deputy CEO in charge of Operations.

You will work with Veolia teams within ONEAD, a public company responsible for the production and distribution of potable water as well as the collection and treatment of wastewater for the capital, Djibouti, and 5 regional cities, under a co-management contract linking Veolia to ONEAD for a period of 5 years (2024-2029).

Djibouti is an arid and relatively poor country, for which access to water and sanitation services represents a major stake for the well-being and survival of the population. The contract's objective is to improve the quality of service in all areas: production and distribution, customer service, metering/reading/billing/collection, intervention safety, and environmental protection. Djibouti is a French-speaking country, so the working language is French.

your missions : 

 

· 
Analyze the hydraulic operation of the potable water distribution network, and assist teams with improvement actions as needed using hydraulic modeling.

· 
Participate in the implementation of sectorization and the pressure monitoring grid (equipment purchasing, installation work, configuration, and analysis of results).

· 
Participate in efforts to reduce commercial losses (sub-metering, fraud, meter reading anomalies, improving customer database completeness, etc.). 

· 
Contribute to correcting and enriching data for the Geographic Information System (GIS).

· 
Contribute to the digitalization of interventions and reporting. .

Qualifications

Educational background: Hydraulic, environmental or generalist engineer 

Previous experience: Not required 

Skills: Rigor, sense of commitment, persuasiveness, tenacity, curiosity

Languages: French & English (good level for day to day work interactions)

·  Remuneration : 29625,36 € net/month (according to the rates of April 2026)
