An opportunity currently exists for a motivated and customer focused Service and Operations Technician (Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical, Science Plumbing/fitting) with experience in water treatment such as Reverse Osmosis Plants, UF, various MMF plants and media etc. Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will provide a mixture of Service/Operations support and Account Initiatives, including operations (support) of Mobile Water assets, planned maintenance, service calls, refurbishment of existing plant and installation of new projects for our customers across a variety of markets.

 

Job Description

What the role looks like:

·  Engineer and optimise plant performance at customer sites
·  Provide direct operations (support) of Mobile Water assets
·  Provide process monitoring of Mobile Water plants
·  Provide scheduled and unscheduled servicing of a high technical standard.
·  Prepare and provide Service Quotations to your clients.
·  Carry out refurbishment of existing plant and installation of new projects
·  Train and educate customer plant operators on safe / correct operation of their plant.
·  Prepare detailed service reports for all service work completed on customer sites.
·  Working in both metro and remote NSW. Some overnight travel will be required to support your regional customers. 

Qualifications

What we are looking for:

·  TAFE / Trade qualifications (or higher) in Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical, Science Plumbing/fitting or other relevant areas.
·  At least 2 years minimum’ experience in the water treatment industry 
·  Knowledge of PLC/HMI trouble shooting and programming highly regarded, although not mandatory.
·  Team player with experience in a customer facing role 
·  Intermediate Computer / Microsoft Office skills

Additional Information

Our office is based at Seven Hills, however this role will predominantly involve working at customer sites. The successful candidate will be required to complete a pre-employment medical check.
