Job Description
Pay Rate: $65,000 to $80,000 per year.
Position Purpose:
This role supports the Procurement program activities within VNA’s Regulated Business Unit and serves as the initial point of contact for internal stakeholder and vendor support.
Primary Duties/Responsibilities:
· Provides customer service for regulated business unit with respect to purchasing transactions.
· Advises customers of order status when necessary.
· Provides one-on-one training as needed for users in the operations teams.
· Works independently reviewing purchase requisitions, selecting appropriate vendors, and coordinating with department management and requesters.
· Dispatches and transmits purchase orders to the vendors in the current version of ERP system.
· Performs Procurement program administration, troubleshooting and continuous improvement (e.g. Travel, Corporate Cards, etc.) as needed.
· Provides timely resolution of stakeholder questions using direct knowledge of the various purchasing programs or by connecting with the appropriate member of the Procurement team to obtain the answer.
· Updates Preferred Supplier Data in current version of the ERP system as needed.
· Resolves invoice discrepancies where necessary by working with the stakeholders and the appropriate departments (Accounts Payable mainly).
· Processes consolidated vendor invoices as needed.
· Assists in OPEX delivery with team as needed and obtains PRFs/approvals where needed.
· Supports development of procurement process documentation and training as needed.
· Actively contributes to driving continuous improvement within the Purchasing Operations team.
· Performs other related duties as required.
Additional Information:
· This is a hybrid (3/2) role located in our Paramus office.
· Occasional travel may be requested.
Qualifications
Education/Experience/Background:
· High School Diploma/GED is required.
· Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
· Two (2) years of administrative or clerical experience preferred.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
· Strong written and verbal communication skills.
· Commitment to excellence.
· Excellent attention to detail.
· Positive attitude and a team player.
· Experience with Microsoft Office Suite or GSuite.
