Job Description
The Plant administrator is a vital role responsible for overseeing and coordinating various operational and administrative activities within our organic processing facility and for generating and distributing regular reporting and analysis on the performance of the plant. This position serves as a liaison between different departments, ensuring smooth communication and efficient workflow throughout the facility..

Reporting activities - Preparing and distributing reports on various aspects of the Plant performance, including production reports, costs control reports, inbound and outbound reports, environmental reports, etc.Provide analysis on specific reports highlighting trends, risks and problems.

Administrative activities, including administration of employees timesheet, suppliers, invoicing, contractors and/or material for operations or maintenance activities.

Liaise with support functions to coordinate special projects and activities to boost productivity
·
Support Operational activities, includes liaising with production management with regards to equipment availability including scheduled downtime, organizing the staff & plant operators, ensuring contractor & materials are available for activities
Main Responsibilities:
The duties of the Plant Administrator are as follows, but not limited to:

Produce regular reports on operation and maintenance, cost and resources performance as required by the contract
·
Produce analysis on reports and trends
·
Maintain an updated record of stock and ensure timely orders are placed.
·
Organize material and contractors to support operations and maintenance activities
·
Help the team with administration as required
·
Support the project team in continuous improvements
·
Coordinate with support functions like IT, finance, procurement etc. to coordinate activities and project to support the plant and the team
·
Organize vendors setup, Purchase orders, deliveries, and invoicing for suppliers
·
Coordinate with finance to generate correct and timely invoices
·
Support the operations and the maintenance team to enhance efficiency
·
Organize contractors as required for support activities.
Qualifications
Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
·
Formal Education Required:
·
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
·
Applicable Experience Required:
·
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a plant administrative role or similar role, preferably in a recycling or manufacturing environment.
·
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
·
Good level computer skills to operate spreadsheet (excel and google sheet) SAP, and other administrative and program-specific software.
·
Excellent understanding of numbers and reportings
·
General understanding of water and waste water treatment is highly regarded
·
Strong customer service attitude and commitment to providing exceptional customer service and quality results
·
Excellent interpersonal skills to facilitate working effectively with wide range and number of people, including peers and manager, employees, and other departments, divisions, and management within all levels of the organization
·
Effective time management, decision-making, and planning and organizing skills.
·
Attentiveness to details and ability to manage a diverse workload within a fast-paced environment with changing multiple priorities and frequent interruptions
·
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team as well as independently with minimal supervision
·
Proven organizational and creative-problem solving skills
·
Ability to maintain confidentiality in all personnel and sensitive matters
·
Ability to complete all conditions of employment including criminal record check, pre-employment medical, current and clean Class 5 driver’s license, and negative alcohol and drug test, and background check.

Required Certifications/Licenses/Training:
·
I n-house training on the quality systems, quality regulations, and safe work practices (including WHMIS)
·
In-house training on Corporate policies
·
Respectful Workplace Training

Strong Leadership Skills

Strong Project Management Skills
Work Environment:
Full-time position offered on a permanent basis, with working schedules from Monday to Friday,with a flexible start time between 6:00 AM and 8:00 AM for 8 hours a day and 40 hours a week.

Physical or mental demands and activities include but are not limited to:

Continually managing priorities to meet operational objectives.
·
Challenging conditions normally associated with a job (e.g. physical hazards, rotating shifts, shop conditions, as an integral part of the duties performed, etc.) It is assumed that all reasonable and legal Occupational Health & Safety practices are in place and are adhered to. In addition, PPE is to be worn as per company standards and procedures.
·
High volume workload requires both sound technical knowledge and ability to provide exceptional customer service.
·
Regular trips into production plants and laboratory; may be exposed to noise, fumes, odors, and chemicals. Subject to extreme heat and cold.
