Position Purpose:  
Responsible for providing on site support  to meet client environmental needs in accordance with state and federal environmental, health, and safety regulations. This position will work in a supervised and/or independent capacity to successfully, and safely, complete scheduled tasks and projects for customers. Responsibilities may include inspections, continuous improvement projects, supporting waste handling needs.

Primary Duties/responsibilities: 

·  Complete on site inspections of safety equipment/spill kits at customer site.  Customer site is Louisville International airport.
·  Complete inspections of hazardous waste satellite accumulation areas.
·  Assist in the management of customer’s hazardous and non-hazardous waste needs.
·  Comply and enforce all environmental, health, and safety policies and procedures.
·  Assist in the completion and accuracy of all US DOT/EPA paperwork to expedite disposal of hazardous waste.
·  Operate Veolia vehicle in a safe manner.
·  Maintain a professional image with clients by answering inquiries and suggesting solutions to
·  Other work related duties, as assigned.

Qualifications

Education / Experience / Background: 

·  Bachelor of Science or related experience preferred
·  Excellent communication skills.
·  Experienced in Customer Service disciplines.

Knowledge / Skills / Abilities: 

·  Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google applications
·  Strong team player
·  Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
·  Time management: the ability to organize and manage multiple deadlines
·  Strong customer orientation

Required Certification / Licenses / Training: 

·  Valid driver license
·  OSHA HAZWOPER Certification preferred
