Job Description
Functional and Operational:
·
Manages site assets, facility design, maintenance, and modifications of equipment and ensures that mechanical and electrical expertise are available to the user departments to maintain smooth operation of the CWTC
·
Responsible for developing and implementing the Facility maintenance plan including: Overhauls, routine maintenance, corrective maintenance, spare parts, consumables management and subcontractors supervision
·
Provide technical and engineering support to the plant in the area of process improvements, process and facilities changes and major facility maintenance including a hazardous waste collection fleet (about 40 trucks and 2 barges)
·
Works closely with Operations and QEHS department for the implementation of safety management systems: permit-to-work, isolations, emergency response etc.
·
Plans, develops, implements, monitors and controls all required engineering, maintenance and asset management policies, plans, procedures and programs Ensures all facility design, engineering and maintenance conform to the applicable contractual and regulatory requirements
·
Work closely with dept heads & other teammates to prevent equipment breakdown, maximize equipment and facility lifetime, minimize equipment and facility operating and maintenance costs and ensure safe operation of all mechanical /Electrical instrumentation equipment and facilities.
·
Conduct regular process, operation and maintenance audits in order to identify problems or potential problems and initiate by specific problems or changed circumstances / requirements.
Qualifications
Education & Professional Qualification
· Degree in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering/ Building Services or a related discipline
·
Member of professional institution preferred,(e.g.HKIE, IEE & IMechE) Job
Experience/Knowledge
·
Minimum 8 years experience in the maintenance of mechanical, instruments or electrical systems with minimum of 3 years' experiences at supervisory level
·
Working experience in power plant or plant facility is preferred
·
Working experience with CMMS systems is a plus
·
Good communication, people management skills, detail-minded and responsive
·
Leading skill to manage maintenance team and subcontractors to conduct various maintenance tasks
·
Excellent in English and Chinese (writing, reading and speaking).
·
Well-versed in MS office
