Job Description
Role Summary
This role demonstrates responsibility and accountability for Process/Product Quality assurance for RO Elements, CMS products, AI reagent manufacturing at Hoskote, and Site ISO certifications.
Essential Responsibilities / Expectations
· Responsible and accountable for the quality of the products manufactured and shipped from the Hoskote plant
· To develop and implement on strategic plans for meeting or exceeding the KPI’s
· Lead process improvement initiatives to reduce defects and improve process quality 4. Lead lean activities to improve processes & systems along with sustaining the Lean culture across the site
· Support substitute/alternate (Sub/Alt), Direct Material Productivity (DMP) projects for localization of raw materials and process improvements
· Support Sales team for new products development. Work with Global Engineering team for Product Qualification (PQ’s)
· Documentation and maintenance as per ISO9001 / ISO14001/NSF/HALAL /EHS.
· Implementation of new regulations like REACH etc and work with global regulatory team on SDS, Local compliance
· Support logistic team on DG shipment to other countries
· Utilize experience and/or expertise to solve problems, develop and execute objectives for self and others that impacts short-term and long-term business goals
· Lead the cost saving project for the site
· Ensure EHS requirements at the site by supporting the EHS team
· Requires cross-functional interaction and relationship with Planning, PSI, production, logistics, Sourcing, Technology, EHS, Product Management, Product Applications, and the Commercial team (Local/Global)
Qualifications
Educational Qualification : Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Chemical/Mechanical engineering from an accredited university or college
Experience Required (Min – Max year) : At least 10-12 years in water treatment/Specialty chemicals/Manufacturing Industries
