Job Description

The Mechanical Engineer will be responsible for supporting the mechanical erection
and commissioning activities on site. Specifically, the key responsibilities include:

● Follow-up of partner and subcontractor mechanical erection and
commissioning activities to ensure project timelines and quality standards are
met.
● Assist the Mechanical Lead Engineer in day-to-day construction and
commissioning tasks, ensuring the smooth execution of mechanical works.
● Coordinate with partners and subcontractors as required for the assigned
tasks, ensuring that all mechanical activities align with the project scope and
schedule.
● Support the Mechanical Lead Engineer with technical aspects of the project
and contribute to resolving any mechanical issues or challenges that arise
during construction and commissioning phases.
● Ensure adherence to all relevant quality control documentation and
procedures during mechanical turnover operations (TOps).
● Participate in pre-commissioning and commissioning activities for mechanical
systems and equipment, ensuring they meet required specifications and
functionality.
● Carry out inspections and provide support in the testing of mechanical
systems and components such as pumps, piping, valves, and pressure
systems.
● Provide technical support for mechanical equipment installation, ensuring
compliance with safety and environmental standards.
● Perform other tasks assigned by the Mechanical Lead Engineer to ensure the
successful completion of mechanical activities as per project requirements.

Qualifications

● Currently pursuing or holding an engineering degree or equivalent
● Good command of English (spoken and written)
