Job Description

The PARC team is responsible for the process, audit, risk & insurance and control matters for Asia zone to comply with the Group requirement and external regulations, including country risk assessment, insurance management, claim management, internal review and audit.

This position is responsible for:

·  Support the whole Asia PARC Team on technical/specific insurance topics requiring expertise/knowledge
·  Build Asia PARC Team knowledge and expertise documentation (guidelines, procedures, training, presentations, etc…)
·  Support/lead the process of critical insurance claims with Brokers, Insures, Claim Handlers and Loss Adjusters
·  Review and analyze local insurance policy, terms and conditions, fronted global insurance programs.
·  Negotiate with local brokers and insurers for broker fees and insurance premium.
·  Evaluate the quality of all Asia brokers and insurers.
·  Develop synergies between Insurance and Loss Prevention/Risk management/Controls.
·  Review of Sum Insured for all Insurance lines 

Qualifications

·  Bachelor Degree holder in Insurance, Engineering, Legal, Finance or related disciplines;   preferably with qualification in The Australian and New Zealand Institute of Insurance and Finance (Senior Associate) (ANZIIF Snr Assoc), Chartered Insurance Institute (Advanced Diploma in Insurance) (ACII), or any other Insurance/Risk Management related diploma
·  Minimum of 2-5 years’ insurance or risk management related experience gained from international insurance firms / for Asian countries other than China
·  Solid experience working with, or consulting for, insurance organisations or insurance regulators
·  Good computer skills
·  Good interpersonal and negotiation skills
·  Fluent in spoken and written English with ability to present articulately with appropriate level of gravitas.
·  Occasional travel needed
