Job Description

Job Summary:
The I&C + Mechanical Maintenance Technician will perform proper diagnosis of any malfunctioning
machinery, general repairs, installing new equipment and systems and preventative maintenance
program on all assigned machinery

Duties & Responsibilities:

·  Follow good housekeeping practices by keeping maintenance and tool storage area neat and clean as well as timely cleanup of work area after each job is completed
·  Install new equipment or rearrange existing equipment
·  Is available on call for emergency repairs as needed to keep plant in good running order
·  Maintain preventative maintenance records and perform preventative maintenance on plant and road equipment
·  Other duties as assigned

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

Preferred:

·  Instrument, Controls and Mechanical Maintenance Experience
·  Electrical panel board experience
·  Motor Controls experience
·  Positive displacements pump repair experience
·  Trade school experience for electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and/or mechanical repair is highly desired

Qualifications

Education & Experience
Required

·  High School Diploma, G.E.D.
·  Minimum of 1 year of Instrument and Controls, OR mechanical repair and maintenance work experience

Preferred:

·  At least 1 year of Electrical install, repair, and maintenance work experience to include electronic troubleshooting, PLC programming, and 480V 3 Phase electrical repair and maintenance experience
·  Electrical Certification
·  Mechanical / Rotating Equipment Maintenance and training

Working Conditions 

·  Ability and willingness to perform physical duties such as lifting, climbing, working at elevated heights, and manual dexterity
·  Ability and willingness to work in range of environments to include but not limited to industrial facilities, manufacturing facilities, and power industry facilities
