Job description

Veolia Water Technologies Belgium is based in Tienen and belongs to the international Veolia group and focuses on three main activities covering the entire water cycle:
- The design of various (waste) water installations
- The construction of process water, drinking water and waste water installations for municipal and industrial customers
- Process monitoring and technical maintenance of these installations

As a Field Service Engineer , you are responsible for service, maintenance, and possible adjustment of our machines on site at industrial clients (food, pharma, biotechnology,...). Because of our varied customer base, you are frequently on the road. You are the face of the company with the customer, so a correct, friendly and diplomatic attitude is required. Flexibility regarding working hours is a must, as maintenance or troubleshooting cannot always take place within normal office hours.

Main tasks and responsibilities :
- Preparing and carrying out on-site service and maintenance on our machines
- Solving technical faults / issues;
- Collaboration and communication with the customer and internally;
- Internal feedback from customer visits.

Desired profile

Qualifications :

Function requirements :

- Mechanically / electrically literate
- Independent and strong personality;
- Preferably lives in the region of Flemish Brabant or East Flanders,
- Customer-oriented and service-oriented,
- Team player with a flexible attitude;
- In possession of driving license B;
- Excellent communication skills in Dutch, knowledge of French or English is a plus;
- Works from home base and comes to the office once a week for consultation if necessary
