Job Description

·  Draws General Arrangements (Layouts) for individual equipments or overall of water treatment plants 
·  Draws detailed piping, pipe routings along with pipe supports  
·  Draws 3D plant model for general allocation and installation
·  Draws isometrics for the piping
·  Draws P&ID’s and Hydraulic Profiles
·  Creates listing from P&IDs such as equipment , instruments , valves, etc.
·  Prepares Bill of Quantities for pipes, fittings, supports  or other accessories of installation
·  Systematically saves sketches and drawings on our CAD server; keeps the server organized; updates project folders and files as jobs progress and revisions are made
·  Integrates the suppliers’ equipment drawings into projects’ mechanical drawings.
·  Creates and continually updates project drawings lists.
·  Reviews and checks sketches and drawings for errors, before being issued
·  Refers to the engineers on any issues related to the drawings
·  Prints various formats of drawing sets when necessary

Qualifications

EXAMPLES ON DECISION MAKING

·  Conceptual design of the plant
·  General Arrangements 
·  Pipes’ routing
·  Equipment installation

EXPERIENCE

·  Degree in related field 
·  Experience of  industrial piping design especially in water treatment engineering
·  Knowledge of pipes, fittings and  valves for selection  
·  Minimum 3-years experience in a CAD user role 
·  Outstanding fluency and skill within the AutoCAD program as 2D and 3D 
·  Base information of other main drawing softwares
·  Excellent communication skills: listening, comprehension, and feedback.
·  English language

 

COMPETENCIES REQUIREMENTS (MAX OF 5 EACH) 

TECHNICAL 

·  Good knowledge in AutoCAD (2D&3D)
·  Google Applications (G-sheets, G-docs, etc.)
