Job Description

POSITION PURPOSE:

The OCM Coordinator & Trainer will play a dual role within the Organizational Change Management (OCM) team, balancing responsibilities between change management activities and training delivery. This position focuses on supporting the “people side” of change, including the support of changes to business processes, systems and technology, job roles, and organizational structures. The OCM Coordinator & Trainer will develop and execute change management strategies that maximize employee adoption and usage of digital applications while also designing and delivering training programs when necessary to build user readiness and reduce resistance.

This role requires a flexible approach—sometimes leading training sessions, other times working behind the scenes to assess change impacts, engage stakeholders, develop communications, and integrate change management strategies into project plans. The ideal candidate is equally comfortable facilitating learning sessions as they are consulting with leaders, coaching managers, and collaborating with project teams to embed change management practices.

PRIMARY DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES:

·
Apply structured change management methodologies and tools to support the adoption of changes required by projects or initiatives in the DB&T.

·
Conduct impact analyses, change readiness assessments, and stakeholder analyses to inform change management strategies.

·
Develop and execute communication plans that ensure consistent messaging throughout the change lifecycle.

·
Identify, analyze, and manage resistance by providing actionable solutions and risk mitigation tactics.

·
Partner with senior leaders, managers, and supervisors to build their change leadership capabilities through coaching and guidance.

·
Support project teams in integrating change management activities into project plans to ensure alignment between technical solutions and user adoption.

·
Monitor and measure change progress using defined success metrics, and adjust strategies as needed to achieve desired outcomes.

·
Assess training needs based on change impact analyses and stakeholder feedback, developing training strategies as part of broader change management plans.

·
Design, develop, and deliver training programs—including instructor-led sessions, e-learning modules, workshops, and job aids—when training is identified as a critical adoption lever.

·
Facilitate engaging training sessions for diverse audiences, focusing on enhancing user proficiency with new systems, processes, or tools.

·
Partner with subject matter experts (SMEs) and project teams to ensure training content aligns with business objectives and end-user needs.

·
Evaluate training effectiveness through feedback, knowledge retention assessments, and performance outcomes, adjusting materials and methods as necessary.

·
Contribute to the creation and maintenance of a scalable change management toolkit, including training templates and resources for future initiatives.

Key Competencies & Skills:

·
Strong understanding of change management principles (e.g., Prosci, Kotter) and how to integrate training as a change enablement tool.

·
Proven experience in designing and delivering training programs with a focus on adult learning principles and user adoption.

·
Exceptional facilitation and presentation skills, with the ability to adjust communication styles to different audiences.

·
Strong collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders.

·
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with experience developing clear, compelling content.

·
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment, shifting between strategic change management tasks and tactical training delivery.

·
Familiarity with digital learning tools, learning management systems (LMS), and e-learning content creation is a plus.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:  Desk setting, up to 5% travel may be required.
