Role summary
Reporting into the Area Manager, the Account Manager has responsibility for the effective and profitable Sales and Business management on assigned territory and customer accounts. The key focus of the role is to achieve on-going sales growth and meet specific sales and profitability targets in a defined customer territory by selling the full portfolio of products and services to the defined customer verticals and territory. The position is based in Guipuzcoa.
Essential Responsibilities:
● To develop expertise to deliver ongoing sales growth and profitability targets, to sell the full portfolio of products in the defined customer verticals and territory.
● To define, agree and execute the service activities for all customers in the territory in collaboration with the local service team.
● To work in a safe manner at all times when delivering company objectives
● Work with to ensure that the profitability any customer account is in line with the profitability plan, typically based on the Standard Margin meeting the required targets
● Retain defined customer territory on an on-going profitable basis against defined profit targets
● Maintain a growth and sales plan, with an in-territory opportunities pipeline, to meet specified sales growth and profitability targets
● Sales growth and profitability targets will be assigned based on the sales plan
● Plan and implement a price rise strategy across the customer territory, liaising where required with National Account and Corporate Account Managers
● Provide sales forecasts, sales upgrade and other specified data to the Area Manager within defined timelines
● Implement the company Legionella policy for customers who have systems classified within existing EHS policies, as “At Risk“
● Ensure all site and EHS policies are implemented at all times on customer sites
● To act at all times in compliance with the Ethics Charter and other relevant policies when maintaining and developing relationships with customers
● Plan, organize and participate in customer review meetings
● Plan and implement Value Generation Plans at customer sites
Qualifications
Qualifications and experience
● Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or Engineering with application in the water treatment industry
● Experience in the water treatment industry
● Commercial experience, very valuable in a multinational company environment
● Native in Spanish and Advanced level of English
● Possession of driving license required
